TPI Certification

Palm Beach Gardens Chiropractor Dr. James Cima is certified through the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI), the number one organization in the world dedicated to understanding how the body functions with the swing of a golf club and how it can be improved.

With this certification, Dr. Cima can accurately analyze and identify how physical limitations in your body can negatively affect your golf swing and lead to injured muscles.

About the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI)

TPI does not believe in one way to swing a club, but rather an infinite number of swing styles. But, we do think there is one efficient way for every player to swing and it is based on what the player can physically do.

The Titleist Performance Institute has certified professionals in more than 50 countries around the world, helping golf players of any skill level improve their game with a better understanding of the body-swing connection.

Keep Those Tee Times

With numerous golf courses in Palm Beach Gardens, our golfing patients are spoiled for choice. For many retirees, in particular, playing golf is their daily passion. So they want to be able to continue their sport to enjoy a high quality of life. As a golfer himself, Dr. Cima understands how important the game is to his golfing patients.

With Dr. Cima’s help, you won’t have to cancel your tee times but instead can keep your calendar filled with time on the fairway!

What to Expect

Dr. Cima will break down the golf swing a little easier and determine where a person’s biomechanical dysfunctions are and what can be causing pain in the golf swing and how to fix it.

I can also coach people on how to change their golf swing a little bit to avoid pain or making it worse.”

His patients typically ask for help with their golf swing and often have complaints of pain that accompanies their swing. Dr. Cima can address pain in the spine, elbow, wrist and neck.

Swing Analysis and Pain Assessment

Once we diagnose their pain, we’ll take them out to the gym, have them swing a club and see what’s going on. Then I’ll analyze their swing. You can bring your own club or use one of the golf clubs at the gym.[/toggle]
